No, not if you’re in manual. But in field cruise it will do it automatically. So no way to stop it dropping climbing a hill other than pulling the stick back manually?

Cheers for that you obviously know your fastrac like I do my JD's
Staff shortages and social distancing will be the problem with that just now unfortunately. I wouldn't normally demo anything on a job such as that but it will be one of the main tasks so might see if I can get it fir a tryIts a really simple box to work out really, it has it’s shortcomings like everything but you can work round them.
A lot easier to understand the settings when you sit in one - if you have a demo hopefully the rep will be able to set it for what you want.
I had a McHale on the demo one last year and it was fine and I was very surprised to be able to see the end of it from the seat when hooking upIs a dromone ( non push back) hitch alright for Med square & round comby baling?
I'd be using the clevis style drawbar not the short hook piece, I've got a bar that would slide in with a K80 ball (sticks out same lenght as clevis drawbar)

Just out of interest what type of price are they charging for a pick up hitch for a 4220 ?Thanks
We don't see a lot of dromone type hitchs down here.
Ok have a swinging drawbar and a ladder hitch on our one but wouldn’t mind swapping it out for a pickup hitch but haven’t looked into it to much tho have a bennett hitch on the fendt wouldn’t mind one of them on the 4220 haven’t seen them advertised but haven’t asked itherHavn't seen a price as an individual option.
I've seen pickup hitch with short ladder & ladder type K80, or swinging clevis drawbar with long ladder with ladder type K80.
We do if you order them!!!Thanks

That’s only a drop down hitch tho isn’t it ? Or do they push out as wellAg Attachments - Hamilton are the NZ importer for Dromone (Arftermarket)

Ok so there’s no push out ones that you know of ? I suppose with not having a big fixed axle in the back end like a standard tractor does limit the accessories that can be put on.We only have drop downs on a 4220 in the UK anyway

Would have to ask them, Only drop down on the oe ones I'v seen. That’s only a drop down hitch tho isn’t it ? Or do they push out as well
Couldn't say for sure but I had the same thought last time I had a demoJust got a quick question for some one. In the steering wheel on the 4220 is a hole that im guessing is for a steering wheel spinner. Does anyone know if it’s a common jcb steering wheel ? Had a quick look on ebay and only comes up with back hoes and telehandler options for the spinners. If anyone knows if they are all the same would be much appreciated. Cheers
