On the JS130 2008 was a change over year to common rail
Mechanical injection Isuzu are bomb proof only expect a water pump at around 8000 hrs,
Early common rail JS130’s can air lock in the cooling system, overheat and crack their heads some were modified.
Common rail JS130s are easily spotted they have vents in the pump & radiator doors, personally I would buy a case or hitachi

What year did they go to the jcb engine and what faults to look for on them

2012 is a basic Jcb mechanical engine and probably the only one I would go for if I had another jcb, after that they suffer from the usual emissions troubles every engine manufacturer has, I have herd the vgt turbos can fail prematurely.
