Looking at getting 7ft 6” muck grab for our jcb 526-56. Been looking at various makes etc. Local dealer has priced us a jcb one which comes out at reasonable money. Was wondering what the jcb attachments are like and who actually makes them ? Cheers

Do you need new grab? Plenty of used about for either side of £1,000 as I have bought a Strimech: but it all depends how much you intend to use it and whether you would prefer to buy new.

As said above they are made by Eastern Attachments.

I have one and I like it, appears well made. My only gripe with it is that there are lots of crevices on it that gather lots of muck when in use, makes washing it off a PITA. I guess a lot of grabs are like that though.

my advice would be buy it new. Paid £2k for mine, plenty of grabs advertised at £1-1.5k are completely worn out and make a new grab look cheap

Happy enough with mine. I’ve got hardox bottom tines and kv tines on the top. If I was to go again I’d ask for another few tines on the top as it doesn’t pick up bale sections / loose as well as the quicke grab I have

Aye, made by Eastern attachments, also sold by cherry products and branded X-form. Strongest, lightest, with best top grab geometry on the market.

They even make them with euro brackets 💪😉

We have an xform and it’s been good it’s very strong but we have managed to bend a tine slightly but we have given it some grief with hedges trees etc only trouble we’ve had is we have blown the ends out of both rams as it was shutting to fast

Max recommend oil flow is 100l/min. What's your forklift pumping out?

Good grabs and buckets but not been pushing them imo. Attachment sales are generally more hassle than there worth.

Especially when other dealers complain that customers are buying direct off eastern when all there doing is collecting🙄
