What are people's experience of the 6M series, and specifically the 6155M?
We have had one on demo and was quite impressed. It's not quite as refined as our 6155R but when specced the as closely as possible to an R there's a £12k difference in price.
There are differences of course, the cab is smaller, mechanical cab suspension not hydraulic, no power boost, 2x450 series/ 2x 200 series spools instead of 4x 450 series on the R, and as I mentioned it's that bit less refined. Having never driven a Powerquad tractor before I found the range changes a bit jerky/ tricky. Especially from D down to C. Does this get better with time? Are the R series the same or is it a trait of the M's?
But £12k is £12k, it takes a lot of earning, and to be fair the M will do everything we ask of it.
What will the £12k price difference look like in 4 years time with 6000 hours on the clock?
Has anyone had an M and wished they had stepped up to an R?
