Quad range gear box, 4 gears in 4 ranges, clutchless shift between 1 and 2, use clutch from 2 to 3, then clutch less again on 3 to 4.

With 178hp at the PTO from 215hp tractor I would assume mechanical, The neighbouring one also had a large 6m?? Howard rotavator on it, there is a film on YouTube of a 6m roterra one pass working on YouTube and I am sure I saw a US farm with a Heston behind it. From memory I think the motors were weak. Currently looking at a similar age of IH to put on drill Old cheapish horsepower
