Thanks for the tag @Chae1

I’ve only had my M740i since May (it replaced a “Friday night” disastrously unreliable M732i), and I have to say, I like it.

It’s simple (like me!), and it’s accurate. Ok, so it might not be the fastest filling sprayer (but that’s only really an issue with Liquid N because I’m often faffing around with recycling cans/boxes when it’s filling on a spray day). I like the version of tracking drawbar I have compared to the terrible one on the 732i, and it’s a nice stable sprayer on slopes.

A friend has an ‘R’ version, and it’s pretty impressive. It looks like it’s a dream to operate, and can do some serious output with very little downtime in a day. However, it’s a whole different level of investment. Perhaps if I was doing twice the acres the R would be more suitable, but my ‘M’ (albeit with isobus and auto-height) is absolutely fine for 1,000 acres.

I have a r740i. The best thing about it is the power spray plumbing system. Fills quickly and very simple to use. Previously had a 732 and that i always felt lacked really good agitation, eg using granules they would often not dissolve fully and be found as a sludge in strainer basket or filters. No such issue now, tank is spotless after a rinse cycle too. Same strong boom design as previously added with auto height/section control is a dream.
