Joystick canbus connectors on a 900-series gen7 fendt?

Evening all

Wee project on the go to trigger hydraulic (or headland mgmt, Go button, basically) lift via agOpenGPS rather than the tractor itself. The usual 4 j1939 buses (k-bus, v-bus etc) aren't in the fuse panel tho that I could see, just a single one. Didn't get any response from it when probed either, and I understood it was 500k but that and 250 got me nowhere.

Any suggestions where that might be, roof perhaps?

Cheers
A

Sure I've read this question somewhere else:unsure: Unfortunately A gen 7 is too new for me and they are definitely different to older stuff. Pretty certain they are 500K. It's likely there will be something in the roof. Certainly is in older 700's. V,K and ISO busses. Do you have a 'scope that you could poke around with? Arm rest cable is an obvious point to look in if you do.

Yup, I've learned k-bus is 500, the others are 250 and roof may be my best bet. Will give it a go, arm rest cable also a good shout. Cheers!

Just saw this video -

So today I learned you can get cables to send an implement "work" signal, to those jacks in the roof which the guy mentioned are 12v (maybe CAN is also on that jack?) If you can send that signal, would TeachIn recognise that signal...? Or in other words, I could get AOG to send it which would trigger the implement lowering ?

Anyone know what those plugs are called, or even better, got a pinout ?

The tractor should have two 7-pin connectors. The other one the standard implement connector (cannot remember the standard) but the one that provides speed signals (radar and gearbox), PTO speed, rear lift switch status, rear lift height, +12 and ground.

The other 7 pin connector should have most pins blocked. My cable is not at reach but the connector is only for the external switch as in the above video. I have a two wire cable and a switch on a few implements so the connector must provide 12V output that you feed to the input with your external switch. I can find the connector pins if needed.
EDIT: with two wires it could also be a signal with 12V pull-up to be grounded, embarrassing that I cannot remember this.
ISO-11786 is the "implement socket".

I cannot see any way to use that signal to trigger TI.

Here the actual description of the event counter/external switch. The signal does appear to have a pull-up resistor and is intended to be pulled down to ground via the connector ground pin. Any pull down circuit should work.

Aye, sounds like it - ah well, back to the connector in roof I think !
I've managed to get to the CAN KBus in the roof of a Fendt ONE . There is a connector to the infotainment box (if a normal radio is present, this connector is not connected to anything) It has the green and yellow wires from the KBus. i'm now trying to decode the signals .

Shouldn't need to decode them, it's all in the firmware for FendtOne already. Any pics of connector and location please ?

Here you go, the connector in my case (211 model 2024) was above the radio insert ,
You can unplug the blue from the main connector, it holds the KBus wires.

What do you mean by not need to decode? I want to send signals to the KBus (press Autosteer button) , so need to decode that
signal in order to know which one to send.
