Its one Ive just picked up to replace a Robex 130-3, It must be on original chains only 4000 on her, but looks like she's been in sand or road grit as the cabs all pocked and the slides are well out although the chains aren't through at all? A lot of of our ground is pretty wet with big stones in the and rocks in the subsoil which pops a worn chain off for fun, but not so fun getting her wound back on in all the gutters!
4000 doesn’t seem much at all doubt you’ll need to do idlers, what age is it? There was a time when Jcb fitted poor quality chain.
Ours run in sand all the time, both js’s & the Volvo made it to 6000, the case is at 7000 still hanging on to it originals (just).
I’m sure you are aware there are techniques like lifting you’re self around when turning that helps keep them on or just weld on some track guides, forestry excavators always have them fitted.
