Got a mate who's very busy with a firewood processor behind his tractor.
Would need something to load it though. No loader of my own.Lime spreader(when it dries up).

Fert spreaders seem relatively cheap. Would be a good match to a Fastrac balance wise. Rates seem ok? But I’ve always assumed I’d need to load and tow fert myself. Am I wrong?
most outfits I see use a self loading grab.Would need something to load it though. No loader of my own.
Beat me to it!Probably a seed drill this spring!
It’s definitely wet up here. Very few Winter cereals drilled. Lots of spring work lined up by farmers.Either a direct drill that works in the wet (is there such a thing) or a combi drill. If up there is anything like round here, when it’s fit to go drilling everyone and their dog will want it in as fast as possible.
Wouldn't the OP have to fail at his own business first before he was eligible?Perhaps you could do some farm assurance inspecting !?!
How very cynical....Wouldn't the OP have to fail at his own business first before he was eligible?
I know! Maybe it just seems that way around here ....How very cynical....
That's the answer then - @FarmyStu needs one of them Tryiton drillsa direct drill that works in the wet. If up there is anything like round here, when it’s fit to go drilling everyone and their dog will want it in as fast as possible.
Used to regularly go out spreading NitrogenI can't see fertiliser spreaders being much of a goer myself.
Dump trailer or tanker or moving a digger about on sites would make sense surely.
