Any good? I’m looking for something to put onto pp land to help fertility. I’m unsure of the rate advised but was told 60kg acre for arable so it looks a good buy to me.

£40 a tonne and £3.50 acre to spread it. Looks a good deal
I was just going to say there will be something a miss with it. What is it? Hen shite? Waste from slaughterhouses maybe there’s the answer for us. I’m still interested though. That ground rock phosphate is a waste of time here. DAP is dearI'm even more interested!!
What's the catch?
There's also a section where they talk about (household) food waste going to landfill, and their role in utilising this in their product, reducing environmental waste
I will find out the neutralising value. My lime man told me about it. £3.50 acre spreading is the worst bit for us lolAny idea of the actual liming effect of it, how much do you need to spread to compare to actual lime?
It can’t be much at 60kg acre considering we put 2 tonne acre of lime on minimum after testingAny idea of the actual liming effect of it, how much do you need to spread to compare to actual lime?
I that’s what @Nithsdale Farmer and myself are thinking what’s the catch. Some of these things are more designed for going onto arable than grassland without saying too much more. That’s all I can think of at the moment. I think it’s cooked. Can’t be as bad as being poisoned of sewage pellets surely. That was an experienceI've just had a load tested of new ground and it came back as needing 2 tonne of calc lime @22 a ton and £5 an acre to spread! £47 an acre probably a bit too much but this seems too good to be true? Let me know if you get any more info please!

it’s good stuff - we used a lot a few years ago and it did what it was supposed to and was very cheap
done say it’s hard to spread but we didn’t find that
Tipped 29 tonnes relates to my quotationIs it bagged/granular, or just loose powder?
Better value than other types of phosphate?it’s good stuff - we used a lot a few years ago and it did what it was supposed to and was very cheap
