Huh! I used to rent out 2 Kidd 4 ton spreaders. I took me a long time to discover why they came back with the rollers out of their sockets. This was one repair i could forgive for not painting!... a long time since my teens i used a brand new fymax... getting the belt to run true in the centre was always a a problem
Think the rest of the machine will have rusted away long before the beater does. Wasn't really sure it was worth fixing but it does the jobThis was one repair i could forgive for not painting!... a long time since my teens i used a brand new fymax... getting the belt to run true in the centre was always a a problem
I'm in northumberland so abit far to pop roundHuh! I used to rent out 2 Kidd 4 ton spreaders. I took me a long time to discover why they came back with the rollers out of their sockets.
Turned out fields were often subsoiled prior to spreading dung and the empty machines were going back to the clamp at high speed.
I sent a complete Kidd back end off for scrap before Christmas. Bearings probably seized but the bars and flingers were ok.
I still have some wheels and tyres if high plains drifter ever gets to Hertfordshire

Give the belt dimensions to any conveyor manufacturer and they should be able to knock one up. We’ve had that done here in Kenya for our 4 and 7 tonne machines so UK should be easy.Any clues to where to find a belt for a 7 tonner ,
