Yes it uses standred plastic we calculated saving of €4100 on 10000 bales also if you run out at 2 am or Sunday it's available everywhereit looks mighty impressive, does it use std wrap instead of net on the bale?
Baler went faultlessly from when it arrived in July , done 4000 odd bales and I'm over the moon with bale quality and so are the customers, the ones who used film on film don't won't to see net again and others wanting to use it this year , the 3D wrapper put more wrap on the barrel of bale then the mchale orbital system
And rotor feeding the baler is best I have used
Will this baler be coming with a single axle at some point.it has many plus points over its competitors systems.how many layers of wrap are people puting on the bales with the wrapper??does the barrel wrap work out a similar price to net if you use 2 rolls at £55 each how many bales does it do with 3 turns??Yes it uses standred plastic we calculated saving of €4100 on 10000 bales also if you run out at 2 am or Sunday it's available everywhere
No not given any bother done 4000 bales and massive improvement on reliability compared to mchale varioHas it given any bother?
I would have really liked to try one but no demo available and not being 100% sure of dealer back up meant I didn't.
2 rolls of film does around 155 averageWill this baler be coming with a single axle at some point.it has many plus points over its competitors systems.how many layers of wrap are people puting on the bales with the wrapper??does the barrel wrap work out a similar price to net if you use 2 rolls at £55 each how many bales does it do with 3 turns??
There would be more Kuhn balers about if there was a change of dealer. Probably best to stick with McHale.Has it given any bother?

That sounds good.anyone i speak to using a three plus are using 3 layers and 4 on wrapper.speak to the wrap sales reps they dont like it at all they say to get the benefit you still need 6 layers with wrapper so 6 layers plus barrel wrap is expensive.i can see the kuhn machines advantages.would the longer pro rolls of wrap fit on for barrel wrap??2 rolls of film does around 155 average
I find that if you do 3 on barrel and 5 on wrapper on 3D setting that you're getting a lot better cover then 6 layers with mchale and works out around same price
But quality of silage this year is best I have had , not a spot of mould
Using Michale 6 layers at the moment feeding and most are fine the odd one has little mould
I went to kuhn for the wrapping system and film on film plus more reliable dealer back up if I needed itIt's funny one of the main reasons I didn't look at Kuhn was dealers. Now there's been some big changes and I have two dealers with Kuhn I would happily work with and a Mchale in the shed.
Yes used the longer rolls of kuhn wrap that come with the machine , can't remember now how many bales I was getting out of themThat sounds good.anyone i speak to using a three plus are using 3 layers and 4 on wrapper.speak to the wrap sales reps they dont like it at all they say to get the benefit you still need 6 layers with wrapper so 6 layers plus barrel wrap is expensive.i can see the kuhn machines advantages.would the longer pro rolls of wrap fit on for barrel wrap??

I work on alot of steep or sloping land very few fields you could run fusion on full auto thats why id prefer a single axle.do you find transfer or wrapping slower than fusion.think i will need to have a few demos this season lol.Yes used the longer rolls of kuhn wrap that come with the machine , can't remember now how many bales I was getting out of them
Big advantage is to be able to put 4/5/6 layers on
I probably will try 4 layers on the wrapper this season for my own use , remember there is a big difference with 3 layers of proper film on the barrel compared to the cling film
I'm in west Wales which isn't very flat !! A lot of banks going straight into the sea !I work on alot of steep or sloping land very few fields you could run fusion on full auto thats why id prefer a single axle.do you find transfer or wrapping slower than fusion.think i will need to have a few demos this season lol.
Thanks.good your doing bales for yourself to see the results and try the diffrent options you have of wrapping them.its all interesting.I'm in west Wales which isn't very flat !! A lot of banks going straight into the sea !
Can hardly ever run on full auto either
I'm bailing banks that mchale was bailing no bother and find the 2 axle good , baler lower to the ground then fusion plus wide baler on 560 tyres
Transfer not noticed any slower
Slightly slower on same layers of wrap if you're on 3D setting ( which I think is well worth the extra few seconds)
But same speed on normal setting
Better intake rotor so no slip clutch going off on corners or lumpy rows
Yes doing around 2000 at home so I can play around with it a bit but bales with 3 on barrel and 5 on back are spot onThanks.good your doing bales for yourself to see the results and try the diffrent options you have of wrapping them.its all interesting.
Ideal.i take it the machine would be capable of doing 7000+ bales a year contracting??Yes doing around 2000 at home so I can play around with it a bit but bales with 3 on barrel and 5 on back are spot on
Yeh more then capable, I do around 8000 a year just never had kuhn until 2nd cut in July so mchale done half last yearIdeal.i take it the machine would be capable of doing 7000+ bales a year contracting??
