Kuhn fbp 3135 vs MF lely tornado

With the Kuhn system of barrel plastic on the front does it make the plastic all stick together.
We get people that want to place the bale in feeders so take the outer plastic off then place in the feeder then take the barrel plastic off. Can you still do this with the Kuhn system?

I like the 3D wrapping. It was good on the vicon Baler’s.

It does tend to stick together but you can separate
I cut hole in end I'm picking up and then it's only cut half way around bale and it all comes off easily

Has it given any bother?
I would have really liked to try one but no demo available and not being 100% sure of dealer back up meant I didn't.
Must be a real joy going to a tandem axle baler again after a fusion on the road as I still miss how smooth my john Deere 678 was on the road compared to bouncy , swaying fusions that constantly chuck the operator violently around on all but the smoothest of A roads.

Anybody using or had a demo of Krone's comprima baler wrapper combination ? I'm running a fusion Vario at the moment but really like the idea of the belts and slats on the krone, as I bale alot of flinty ground and the belts on the fusion take a hammering and are not cheap to replace !

Friend had a Comprima. It had problems with wrapping and the slats got tangled few times (basically they somehow got stuck and ran over themselves). Swapped it for a McHale. Seems a bit unpopular baler, but needs a lot less power (was it around 80'ish hp?) than competition.

There would be more Kuhn balers about if there was a change of dealer. Probably best to stick with McHale.

Yeah that's what I reckoned. Dealer was/is keen to get some into this area. It'll be a while before I'll be changing again maybe there'll be another dealer closer to hand. I know where I am with the fusion and the dealer.

Our Kuhn dealer is definitely keen to sell but I wouldn't buy another thing off him. I'm about midway between the McHale dealers and couldn't say anything bad about either of them.

Did about 12000 bales with a 155 combi, very few problems and would bale anything you put in front of it.

I said earlier in the thread around 155 from 2 rolls putting 3 turns on barrel then 5 layers of 3D wrapping on the back
Ok sorry I thought you were using larger rolls of plastic. 5 layers so is approximately 18-20 or 9-10 revolutions depending on machine settings?? So the two rolls on wrapper will do approximately 50-55 bales?? Sorry for all the questions it’s just we don’t supply plastic to our costumers so trying to work out costings as we will supply just the barrel wrap!!

Yeh 5 layers 10 revolutions , seem to get around 50/52 out of 2 on the wrapper
