That's insane, my plough is due boards soon, but was planning stopping contract ploughing. With prices like that you'd be needing £50 an acreJust had a genuine price , 225 a board
Think it pays to shop around, last summer thought I'd better get a set of shares and a couple of sets of points ready for my Vogel noot plough. I have a Kramp account, but thought the genuine shares last longer. To my suprise, the genuine parts, now Amazone were much cheaper through the local dealer. That's insane, my plough is due boards soon, but was planning stopping contract ploughing. I'd be going for kramp or try spladings
Anyone had a price for boards lately? Thanks
Used to do the same when I was on farm. The hassle with non genuine KV was unreal, total junk most or it, not wearing evenly and poor bolt holes.KV Dealer pretty much has 27/30% discount running all the time on genuine metal it ends up not that much dearer than others so ive just stuck with it
It fits 110% never an issue.
16"shares for the reversible point are about £27.50 .+ vat .18" shares are less common, but I wouldn't think they are more than double the price ? Genuine no.8 boards on a pre season deal are about £137 + vatRecommended price with Kramp is just over £100 for a no8, mouldboard. An 18" Kverneland share is around £60 , parts are getting seriously expensive...
