Any word from Dingwall today? They had 16,000 booked, so are likely to steal the 'largest sale' title from Lairg this year.
Just heard they averaged £52 odds about £2 back on the year for 15000+.Any word from Dingwall today? They had 16,000 booked, so are likely to steal the 'largest sale' title from Lairg this year.
No problem, went to see if it was possible to bring ewe lambs to ireland, id say them lambs pictured were in the mid 30s kgs, the lambs in the ring were from badanloch.... brilliant stockThanks for the photos @Sheep92 some fair lambs in those pens. What weight would the better pens be, look 30kg or more those good pens
Sticky was a common word. In laws were in first district and dissapeared after we were through, anyone there did it improve much after?
I'm told it did. Not got the official report yet, but apparently got better as the day went on.
I heard this too also one seller with 200 took them all home,I wasn't there so this is all third hand. One large seller (600 entered ) didn't sell all theirs in the ring, but did sell some more out of ring, I'm told. Again, third hand talk.
Got dropped off at my buyer's place so won't get them till weekendAny photos, hope your pleased with them and they traveled well
Cheviots and Skipinish what more could you want?

Nah! Have all three. Its a great small video! Being a simple fellow,it even gave me a small shiver up the back of my neck.Even the wagon driver does a skip when loading the sheep.Had not heard of Skippinish before,Robert Robertson has a fine voice, although i think hes left to form his own band "Tide Lines" or something.Beautiful lassie in their "official video",The Island!.Swap the Cheviots for a beer or 2 and you are onto something
