Do you think that's why you've lost a few ewes, they're a lot closer to lambing than you thought.Came home this evening to thisView attachment 1090528flock not due to start for another 5 weeks!!!

Certainly better than the eweLook on the bright side it looks like a cracking lamb
No it's entirely down to the fence jumping Welsh rams that are no longer with me.
The scanner man marked all the ones he thought would be early...she wasn't one of them!! and she's one of the thinner ones. Little lamb is bouncing round a pen now and even managed to navigate all the mud outside the shed to get to the field.
Got a few with good size udders coming so I'll have to get my a*se in gear and get what I need for lambing tomorrow.
Nah...it's the way I take photosCertainly better than the ewe
One of my teasers had the biggest bottle jaw I've ever seen. Flukiver 3 days ago then cydectin last night. Jaw has gone down but he has two big swellings between his front legs.I’m glad you described her as one of the thinner ones!
The ewes I had most effected by Barber Pole last year went like that too. I was glad when most of the ones hit that hard scanned with one, as twins would likely have killed them.
They take a long time to mend from there.
that's a mule?Nah...it's the way I take photos
She's got plenty of milk.... can't beat a mule
Nelson mule...same as the other two laying down... can't you see the bonny heads?!?!..the one walking past is a Nelson welshie.that's a mule?

I’d just like to add this is not a fare representative of the breed both the Welsh mule and the nelson ewe. Not a dig at the poster but the way I read it that’s the standard of the breeds.Nelson mule...same as the other two laying down... can't you see the bonny heads?!?!..the one walking past is a Nelson welshie.
