Lambs coughing

Looking advice. I’ve a batch of lambs in the shed getting ready for them to be clipped. They have been Heptavac’d, got Zolvix, mineral dosed - pretty much everything they could get and getting a taste of nuts as well but a few have started coughing. They are on straw bedding and eating hay. All lambs are in very good form but I’m trying to find a reason for the coughing and I’m putting it down the dust from the hay and straw. Any other ideas or does it sound like it is the dust? No runny noses etc. All run out everyday for the nuts.

Zolvix doesn't do lungworm. I will use startect this year for that reason.

Thanks. I thought Zolvix pretty much dealt with all worm types. Does a FEC show lungworm? I don’t think it does but not 100%.

You can find lungworm larvae in fac. The price of zolvix it really should.

Thanks. I’ll get a FEC sample gathered and see what it says. I know Zolvix is pretty expensive.
