Land ownership in the Ukraine?

I was reading very recently an article from last year ( maybe the Horsch magazine?) about a huge farming buisness of 500000 ha over 27 locations who also own/ operate one of the main grain and port facilities at Chornomorsk . They employ 12000 people. Think it was called Kernel ?
What state it is now is anybodies guess !
Thanks for that. I have just Googled ,Horsch Magazine “Farming in the Ukraine” and the article you mentioned is there to be read, also a map.
Interesting read , but as you say what state is the land etc in now, especially the grain exporting facility that is pictured.

I certainly haven’t got any patience with any body that I meet who starts moaning about the pettiest of things in our every day life, my immediate reaction is “think yourself lucky we’re not being bombed , your not hungry ,thirsty or cold, get a life”. :banghead:
Quite right , im the same.

He wasn't given much of a chance with Russia fomenting rebellion and covid getting in the way, aside from which you can't change things overnight. One of his first major jobs was removing the immunity from prosecution that their MPs enjoyed and was working towards making the media accountable for their output.
My understanding is that the position with corruption was improving and Ukraine is less corrupt than Russia a month ago. God knows, that is the least of their worries now.

Yes - in general things had been improving, but as always with such things it takes time & unfortunately the war will have set things back by a few years. The situation in the Donbas region though has been getting worse since 2014 with corruption becoming part of daily life - without being too specific, I am aware of cases where charitable institutions were being required to provide a percentage of their funding to "officials" in order to retain their licence to operate.

And civil war getting in the way . Its a shame both ukraine and russia suffer so much corruption both places have so much to offer if they were more honest and stable .
If you want corruption you need look no further than British government. Every level appears to be rotten to the core.

COVID PPE contracts are a national example. Article below a local government example.
