Just be warned make sure you do actually go to the actual “ gov uk land registry site” and not one of the look a likes , which is easy to do by mistake.Search for land and property information
Find a property and get its title plan, title register and see who owns itwww.gov.uk
Was that the " actual" land registry site pr 3rd party site??Are the fee’s definitely £3 ?
I ask as when I was being nosy , wanting to find out who had bought some land and for how much, I was shocked to see the title/ plan fees were now nearly £20!!
Perhaps a deterrent for nosy old sods like me
As stated earlier on official hm land registry site.Where could I apply for an official copy please? The land is not for sale.
Yes, very slow. If it is a transfer of part of a title number then well over a year to register. Also very slow to update ownership and price paid??
And as said above , those transferring details from old paper deeds to online system OFTEN put or draw incorrect boundaries etc etc too.
Land registry plans also only show the general boundary position and cannot be relied on when the boundary is disputed. You would have thought that they would have an accurate mapping system in this day and age. Also very slow to update ownership and price paid??

And we thought over covid period and all worked from home 1st registration was 2 years??Yes, very slow. If it is a transfer of part of a title number then well over a year to register.
it is the same for everything in the public sector, incompetents seem to run the show, and a bunch of idiots called the government who have never started to sort the issues in any sectorAnd we thought over covid period and all worked from home 1st registration was 2 years??
Not much different now
I thought it was the “actual” land registry site but I may have been mistaken. I will double check at the weekend. Was that the " actual" land registry site pr 3rd party site??
If you have an overage and your solicitor doesn’t register it sue him for negligence.Overage agreements are not normally registered on the title. The extract of the register shows a restriction to protect the overage agreement not that the overage agreement is registered against the title.
