Just pointing out investment doesn't mean a site will stay operational when the pressure comes on a buisness, whether it's been invested in or not .

Would have thought if it was ever going to happen it would have happened by now !
2 years of tea and biscuits at nfu meetings, and still nothing sensible to even discuss .
Maybe that's because most of the nfu dairy board are Arla members (and quite happy with the situation atm) , or on aligned contracts.

Maybe it’s more to do with whenever draft legislation gets sent out it normally coincides with a general election being called which resets the clock back to the start again.

I missed it sadly as I ended up with the kids. Hopefully manage to catch up with it though. Think they post the video online later.

In the normal business world (i.e. non farming) the buyer is normally expected to pay you a premium if he wants an exclusive deal with you. Even Tesco don't expect exclusivity from their milk suppliers, so why do the Dairy businesses expect it for free from farmers?
