I rember seeing years ago about a chain from left lift arm to some where? To take the twist out of them when lifting with a mower condioner.
Will top link bracket help or does it need to be other lift arm? If so where?

Yes used to be a chain on mowers.
But this is to stop the sag on the right lift arm when lifting the mower from cutting to turning at ends.

My pottinger mounted mower has a hydraulic ram on the headstock to level up the linkage............or more to the point put the linkage at different levels, so that the mower can be made to sit level when in work position.

We just bought a new 8’ Kuhn plain mower. It came with a chain from the headstock side closest to the mower which was supposed to go to the top link bracket on tractor. Turns out this is in case used on older tractor without electronic positional linkage to set a constant height. We therefore took it off.

And what a simple but effective thing it is too.
