I took a Euro backplate and converted it to take Trima attachments while keeping its ability to take the euro attachments.@Larel made one, I think, on his fabrication thread. But unless you need to have the both options I’d be tempted to change the headstock for a new one.
I only have Euro8 implements, yet the tractor I am buying has a Trima headstock on it, as well as a Euro8 adaptor, yet the guy px the tractor for a new massey wants to keep the adaptor! even if he has trima fittings the new loader will be Euro, so he will need and adaptor from Euro back to Trima....I took a Euro backplate and converted it to take Trima attachments while keeping its ability to take the euro attachments.
It wasn’t as straight forward as I thought it should be when I started out but got there in the end. I’d agree though unless you need the flexibility of both its easier to change the headstock to euro.
I did it for a mate who really needs to consolidate his system as he now has a mixture of trima, euro and merlo!

Sounds like you want to Swap headstocks with him when his new one arrivesI only have Euro8 implements, yet the tractor I am buying has a Trima headstock on it, as well as a Euro8 adaptor, yet the guy px the tractor for a new massey wants to keep the adaptor! even if he has trima fittings the new loader will be Euro, so he will need and adaptor from Euro back to Trima....
Going back to your original post, my mate has a Stoll loader from new with a euro 8/trima combo headstock which was what started my whole saga! It looks a very simple and well made bit of kit. Here are the best pics I have of itI have a Stoll loader with a Trima headstock, I am looking for a Euro 8 adaptor, any recommendations.
Thank You for taking the time to take the photos and include props! I have already suggested a similar sort of thing!Sounds like you want to Swap headstocks with him when his new one arrives
I just found this photo of the loader, If you look closely, it looks as if they have flame cut the end of the headstock off, and looking at your photos, its the piece that hold the Euro8 brackets!Going back to your original post, my mate has a Stoll loader from new with a euro 8/trima combo headstock which was what started my whole saga! I’d agree with you and not cut that tidy either. . The real shame is that the man that wielded the gas axe didn’t have access to a grinder to tidy up his handiwork . Really can’t think why somebody would do that unless it was fouling on one of his attachmentsI just found this photo of the loader, If you look closely, it looks as if they have flame cut the end of the headstock off, and looking at your photos, its the piece that hold the Euro8 brackets!
What do you think?
I had a loader like that new in 1990. Think Polish but can't remember name.Hi, have recently got this loader and are unsure of the make, we have euro implements so will need to get a new carriage, does anybody know which loader this is and where we could get a euro carriage for it?
