Great quality from a small farm based engineering company , and very good value.
Best part of £7000 back in 2015What did it cost of you don't mind me asking? Serious bit of kit!
An Oxdale doesn’t just split anything and everything put before it, you need to be able to “read” the log.I have, why do you ask?
What diameter, length of wood do you want to split,as such a big subject?
I sat mine on pallets , trailer or similar to give a bigger table. For those that are recommending the Oxdale splitter; are the bigger / wider base on the TM400 hydraulic splitter 'must have' on them? The standard base looks very small?
I had an Irish one which wasn't finished very well, worked OK though and a good design imo.and also sent an Irish one back due to poor manufacturing
The big base is definitely an improvement, but not essential. For those that are recommending the Oxdale splitter; are the bigger / wider base on the TM400 hydraulic splitter 'must have' on them? The standard base looks very small?
Well, I just picked this one up of a neighbour who bought it at a sale and has never used it...View attachment 831785View attachment 831785
They do still work without themJust went to fit the splitter to my MF135, only to find I need two cat1 to cat2 sleeves/bushes!
