A friend of mine who is HGV fitter has been asked to replace a pipe in the boom of a manitou 1637 1998 model and is wondering what best plan of action is?? TIA

Dont let them put you off let him at it you ll send her to the dealer and some cub will be doing it anyway remember to put a ropes on the pipe s to pull the new new one through I done me own maniotou pipes a few years ago your is probably the industrial model they come out from behind the boom like the rest no other way getting them in or out !!!!Thanks folks I’ll pass on the info. really ,you need some helpI made up some pipes using seamless tube from dyfed steel and the local plumber bent them then I welded on fittings for boom pipes on our first
Teleram 40 and worked ok but I guess we aren't talking about the same

I used 2.5 mm rods at 70 amps , and no leaks also I fully overhauled torque flight transmission in same machine with no special tools just a vintage car workshop manual with same transmission and it worked perfectreally ,you need some help

If rubber pipes are needed surely they can be made up using old ones as patterns at any hydraulic specialistthats great work but the OP is going to have a hell of job trying to weld rubber pipes
