Yes maybe a bit more for the tractor if it’s been well looked after, runs nicely and doesn’t breathe heavy, everything works as it should etc. Tyres original? Showing their age. Not sure I’d go much over £4K but having said that just about everything has shot up lately.

I would think the tractor is worth £5k as it looks quite tidy and original. Classic tractor values are only going one way at the moment and that is up.

Last drove a Marshall November 1999. So bottom photo brings back happy memories like when the diseal tank dropped off, like when the clutch fluid disappeared at a busy roundabout, having to top up & blead brakes daily, all good fun.

But don't remember where the hand throttle was, sure it was not where yours is.

Sekura is now based in Denmark but the De-Luxe cab available from the late 70's was certainly made at their Barnsley facility as I believe was the Explorer.

"At this time a De-Luxe cab became available as an option, and this gave improved visibility. Made by Sekura at Barnsley, this cab featured a flat floor, padded fenders and – for the first time on a David Brown – an escape hatch in the roof. However, this safety feature was probably used more for added ventilation than its intended purpose! The side windows were sliding openers as were the lower rear windows but the large upper rear window was opened by gas struts. Following this a low profile Sekura cab was made for 885, 990, 995 and 996 tractors"

The inside cab photo reminds me of a bight yellow with black vinyl roof Allegro i once had the joy to own.
My mates Greyhound ate the dash and steering wheel in it at the dog track ..The dog did not like it either :)
