Will be putting new tines on our Maschio DM power Harrow shortly, I have always done them up bloody tight and a bit more ( never had one come loose)
As I now have a torque wrench does anyone know the correct torque before I ask a dealer?

Do a google on torque setting fir the bolt size. If your still not happy give it a tug more. If the ones that are on there haven’t ever snapped of come loose Mark across one and crack it’s loose the use torque wrench to re tighten to the marked position by adding 5ftlb at a time. Then you’ll have your torque. Or just stick with three grunts and a fart.

This is as good as it gets from the operator's manual for a DM harrow.

I'd expect the bolts to be M16X1.5 so torque to 301 or 361Nm.

TT=(L+E)/L
where TT= true torque
L = length of torque wrench
E = Extension
so to get a torque of (361Nm) or 266ftLbs you need an extension as your torque wrench will only read 150max.
If your torque wrench is 600mm long with an extension of 600mm this will double the torque.
So a setting to give you an output of 266ftlb is 266/2= 133ftlbs
