Massey Ferguson 168 Shuttle kit

I see some MF 168 had a shuttle kit which are extremely rare to find.

I would like to put a shuttle on my MF168 8 speed, and was wondering what people suggest ?
Ideally an electrically operated one rather than lever operated or one I need to clutch to operate.

No you could get an 8 speed shuttle,it's very very rare to see one though.

Saw a 390 8 speed shuttle in a sale at Longbredy in 93/94.Low profile cab with 3 sticks on the floor.

Now you've got my attention... My 550 is an 8 speed. I guess it slots in where the spacer is?

Correct, it is fitted in the spacer.
It seems Massey Ferguson provided a kit that fitted where the spacer is and a selector handle for forward/reverse.

Never seen one fitted to a 100 series tractor but they were fitted to massey based forklifts like the sambron AM252

I got a G plate 390 in 1990 were I worked, it had an 8 speed gearbox with a manual column shift shuttle, great loader tractor.

Yes it was a mechanical shuttle
