The early red wheel centre ones look partially attractive when restored well.

I much prefer the round fenders, more comfortable to rest arm on, square fenders seem a bit tall.

When first introduced early 135's were available like already said with round fenders, This was I guess because MF would have these round safety fenders available from the outgoing 35x tractors. The square fenders were also available if requested as these complemented the Duple fibreglass weather cab also introduced with the launch of the 100 series or 'red giants' as they were referred too.

Personally I don't really think there's much difference in prices of cranked or later straight axle models, but multipower 135's do seem to be worth more.

All the 135s we had in Malawi in the '70s were round winged. A bit of disc ploughing, MF 185 in the background, Eicher Goodearth from India with bench seats on the mudguard in middle, single cylinder engine.

My 1965 model (dad bought it second hand in '68) has round wings, swept axle & red centres - I wouldn't have it any other way! For me, it just looks right - the lines of the bonnet are complemented by the sweep and minimalist size of the wings, whereas the square ones look too big and angular except where a cab is fitted. The round wings are also easier to keep clean!

As I said above the picture, MF185 in the background, blue Eicher Goodearth in the centre. This is the Eicher with the Indian manufacturer's rep on board.

This is the 185 with reversible 3 furrow disc plough

Didnt know they made reversible disc ploughs back then
The 185 looks more like a 5 series
