MF 1505 wakeup

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but does anyone know the whereabouts of a 1505 with a Mercedes V8 snugly shoehorned in to it?

If so, my brother owned it for a while. The Cat engine was shagged and he saw an ad for the Merc from a snow blower, incredibly low hours and quite cheap, about 170hp if I recall correctly. Bit of head scratching and he got it all going.

She was a bit of a beast.

I remember this one from new, working on the farm opposite here when I was a kid.
Very tempting, but I've got too many 'projects' lined up already!

I'm not quite as old as you James, but I can also remember this working burned stubbles in the 80's and 90's, shame she's lived outside all her life.

Ooh, that hurts!:oops::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It spent weeks one Autumn split in two at the top of Mayland Hill, where it pulled it's the front end away from it's back end.
Keebles ended up plating it up far stronger than it came out the factory.

The 1505 on ebay, was it kosher? I e mailed three times asking for a tel no to discuss it and got no response. Why put "viewing recommended" and then no means of contacting them? It would be interesting to know if it was a genuine sale or a scam? I see it only got one bid. And it wasn't me !!

I know it's a real tractor, I could have made an offer on it when I bought my 1200 off them!
I suspect it may not have actually sold at that, do you want me to ask Charlie what's going on with it?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
