Well the Irish aren't daft, what a great way to get your land worked down. Some interesting combos in there.

I am a member of the West of England Steam Engine Society and my dream is to own two ploughing engines. We have two Fowlers in Cornwall, sisters with consecutive reg nos. Strangely although starting their lives in Crewe they went in different directions but were brought to Cornwall by two different owners and are an awesome sight working together. They were delivered by rail with a full set of ploughing tackle in 1918 for £2580. They are worth an absolute fortune today. It's that quiet power that takes you into a different world.

@DrWazzock no nothing as drastic as the thrust washers.
Down on voltage across the starter, clean all terminals
Jump across switch on gearbox (if its a T20) with a black spanner, make sure its out of gear.
New earth strap using a jump lead
New supply lead using a jump lead
Charge battery/disconnect overnight
Bad spot on the ring gear, rock engine forward onto a new bit
See how you get on ...........................

Thanks. We will try. It's been reliable up to now.

Back to 135's still at work, its not so keen on cold winter mornings...I know just how it feels. Duals are a help now it is so wet, it makes less mess than the jcb picking up after hedge laying. Recognise the view @devonshire farmer ?

Still looking for gold in them thar hills? I saw a machine in the middle of one field but too far away to see. Need binoculars for neighbourhood watch. Picking up the heap of crap is the light relief after hours of stumbling around on the hedge top with a chainsaw and billhook. Evil blackthorns.

Don't know about a machine, well its a digger or it was before I got my hands on it!:D
You leave your binocs at home chap, you don't need to know what we are up to!;):):ROFLMAO:
I can imagine, but from where I was sat it looked a lot tidier, was wondering how you were travelling without making a mess

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
