The valve you can see by the mudguard is for draining moisture from the tanks.
Our tanks didn’t last long enough to build up any condensation!!!
Draining moisture? It looks like a Schrader valve.

As has been said, pull the fuse out now!
The compressor under the cab floor is fragile so won’t last long kicking in every minute or so.
We fitted new plastic tanks and also tried resealing with silicone and also mastic none of which lasted any longer.
We eventually bypassed the tanks and fitted quick release air couplings to the air bags and now just top up with the workshop compressor now and again, normally keeps up for 3 months!! We don’t have air brakes.
Brilliant compared with buggering about fitting new plastic tanks twice a year at £120 each.
The tank is an incredibly stupid design, there is no need for it to be in two halves.

Just typical! Phoned Jacksons for a price etc. Did all my research.
Went to check the tractor and pull fuse out. Was it leaking?! No!
Just done 30ac of spraying with it and still not a problem. Compressor pumped up just fine when started and can’t hear a leak.
Are you sure it's the plastic tanks leaking?I've had pipes crack in the compressor box but still sound like the air is leaking from elsewhere.Well that did the trick! 2 mins after posting the compressor kicked in. Leak now evident!

What do you re seal with @jack6480 ?Take boxes off and re seal that’ll be cheapest and effective
Fuse was changed from 50amp to 20 amp as per mf bulletin either at pdi or at service . Have replaced shocks on 2x mf 7480's with ones off mf5480 been on about 6weeks been no problems so far .saved 2 compressors and 4 tanks!also there is a common union in box which can leak air the one what screws into brass solenoid then goes via a pipe to relief valve
EasyHas anyone converted theirs to run off the air brakes ? If so how did you do it
