see my post further down.Thought they were all capable of 50k, but enabled through software. I'm told D6 40k won't engage 4F ratio?

A dynashift 64 series doesnt rev flat out to get to 40k, about 2000 revsD6 40k & 50k isnt identical 4th gear ratio is taller in the 50k version thats why they will clock 56k flatout
40k D6 has limiter on 4F around 1900revs which its only doing 44k but even if you could rev it full throttle it would never get too 56k
old 32speed Dynashift flatout in 4D is only around 40k 3000,6100,6200 & early 6480s & bigger series likewise.
Here is the reason 40k D6 gear 4A is slower than 3F in a 50k D6 its higher !!!That would explain why 4A feels a bit long legged to pull away loaded, if 50k is higher geared. I wondered if a 40k tractor feels the same.
yeah correct. there is the taller ratio as the 40k D6 at 1900revs on the limiter is 44k its nevre gonna do 50k is it.A dynashift 64 series doesnt rev flat out to get to 50k, about 2000 revs
