Milk fat residues/ milk preserver

Hello , was wondering if anyone had any ideas to help me out. We rear dairy bull calves on a couple of heatwave milk warmers. I got fed up of paying stupid money for milk powder, it just wasn’t economical. I’ve tried cheaper whey based powder but the calves in my opinion never done as well. We were feeding 50% skim powder and the calves were doing ok but as I said at the start , it just was far to dear. So I bought a few 2nd calved cows and a portable milker. Cows are milking really well and I can’t complain.
It’s just the fat residues getting blocked in the heatwave. Seems to be every time I go to check on the feeder it’s always blocked. I know that there are acidifiers etc for making milk keep longer but as you know the milk we are using isn’t going through a plate cooler or being chilled in the tank which supposedly is better for a heatwave. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
