And then also if you could, please record the conversation and upload it to here, it would make the winter a bit more enjoyableIf you can prove muller are holding back your price because of Arla I would ring the OFT!

I'm personally very angry that Arla are holding my Muller price back.
So who is highest in Europe? Muller or Arla?I'm personally very angry that Arla are holding my Muller price back.
Arla by a whisker. So who is highest in Europe? Muller or Arla?
Arla are the 4th largest milk processor in the world, I think Friesland campina are 6th. Muller 15th ish?Arla are tadpoles compared to Friesland campina. They r the top dogs
The thing that worries me is that Arla are just like a bigger version of First Milk and now they are wrecking our milk price by other companies just paying the same because they can get away with it.
Muller are highest payers in Europe Germany at 37.5 cents , higher even than F.C.So who is highest in Europe? Muller or Arla?
It’s the currency smoothing which has dragged Arla s price and then everyone else’s price down from hitting 34pJust like first milk with their strong and ever growing brands, minimal brokering and strong focus on getting branded products out of Europe into growing dairy makers?
So if Arla didn't have a co-op presence in the UK and it was still just Milk Link who would probably have still been paying high twenties like FM how would this make your price higher?

I still don't understand what's stopping Muller paying more though?
I think Arla's price in Euros is $36c. If Muller can pay 1.5c more than this in Germany then what's stopping them over here?
@jackrussell101 is right in a sense. He is just a price taker. DMK are the biggest German co-op and are very commodity based and are hence currently paying a very high price (they also paid a very low price 18mths ago), so Muller in Germany pay a price to compete with that.
Arla are not as commodity based plus are being held back by poor prices in the UK market linked to the currency dropping over the last year plus the currency smoothing. This has allowed Muller to pay less and unfortunately, as a result sell at a lower price. Therefore Arla can't lift prices in the UK as much as we should be able too given the commodity markets.
I knew the answer before i asked. @jackrussell101 so why are Arla holding your price back in the UK but not in the of EU?Muller are highest payers in Europe Germany at 37.5 cents , higher even than F.C.

Eventually.Think I read somewhere once that Arla spend 10% of turnover on R and D is this correct? If so do the new products earn what are spent on them?
