I might just be doing something wrong but i have some parts of operating thaat should be much simpler!

When your tanking slurry we all like to travel on the road in drive, but you cant set the hand throttle in drive even if you put it in neutral. So you pull into the yard back up to the store then have to put it into manual gearbox mode to be able to set the hand throttle for the PTO.

Because of mother regs i know you cant get off the seat with the PTO running, but on the fastrac, you have to go through about 5 screen to trun it off. Or set the pto running, then get off the seat so the alarm goes off then turn around in the cab to press the warning on the screen?

Surely there must be an easier way, on the claas tractors when you turn the pto on you just click the switch twice to warn it your going to get off the seat?

I'd set it so
Don't know about the pto issue, but for the revs don't the fastrac's have throttle memory's/engine cruise that you can set to pto revs?

Yes. I'd set one of the stick buttons to revs. Pull up, back up, green button to shove it in manual then 2nd button to set revs.

The PTO is a go through on the screen to set it, but only has to be done once then it lasts until you stop the engine. Not noticed it a being a hassle for me

I can't see why the hand throttle can't work in drive if in neutral, annoying.

It just seems a bit of a parp, wondered if I was missing an easier way!

Possibly a carryover from the P Tronic days where flicking the handthrottle up stopped it changing gear. Feed it back to your salesman, JCB do listen to feedback but it can take a while
