Last plough we had was a Dowdeswell which required welding most winters but it did seem to weld nicely!
Now got a KV which has a 300hp rated headstock on a 155hp tractor so hopefully it should be trouble free for a few years!
I've never had a headstock issue and we just have the 200 .

Last kv beam we had bother with was the old bolt together section kind my boss still had 1 as his match plough that had been broke and plated when I first started with him . Ever since we've had 1 piece beams we've never had an issue and I've never been near any other frame work with a welder . Have cracked the old board or slat tho but that's gonna happen with anything
