Multidrive sprayer

Ideas or knowledge required please!
Looking to put a spray pack on a 3185 multidrive. 12/24 around 3000L tank and as compact as possible when folded. Any recommendations, before I start looking, ideas of prices etc etc. Not got the multidrive yet but just trying to put all the pieces together first. Any help would be much appreciated

McConnell have one ready to go at £22k it’s a chafer, brand new!!

The cheap option is graft a trailed machine onto Multidrive JR Firby has one in stock with Berthoud trailed on its back I think it was on his own farm and fitted in his own workshop

There's a couple of de mounts on ebay that would probably fit but only 2000l.

Gary Avison may possibly have something kicking about that could adapt.

I talked to Richard about this machine a while ago, he said it had cost him far more than he anticipated, few daft niggles that ended up costing big money.

I built up our demount for our 6185 a few years ago now, chafer tank, knight booms, and rds controls it sailed through its mot on Thursday no bother and has been pretty much faultlessBest of all I know it pretty much inside out as we built it. Bit of work and lots of thought but ended up almost as new in fact most people took it as being new quite rewarding a machine that you put sweat and thought into working for you as good or better than an off the shelf machine.

Knight booms I think are a bit lighter than chafer but also the knight booms came as an ex fastrac demount unit from @quattro on here and also donated an up to date RDS 34i control box which was a plus

There’s a Cornish contractor been running Multi Drive for several years withplenty of experience of them. May be worth you giving them a call. If you don’t know who they are send me a PM and I can give you a contact.

If you need any pictures just give me a shout. I have 2 machines with pommier booms and one with Chafer boosms.
If you are buying a second hand demount unit, check that it will match the chassis length of the Multidrive as there is a 3.8 meter wheelbase and a 4.2 meter wheelbase.

Also now on the lookout for a 6185 multidrive. Ideally 3.8m wheelbase. I thought I had one lined up but it seems not anymore....!

I know of a guy with a 6195 with Knight demount advertised for £25000. I think it is a 3.8m wheelbase. Pm me if you'd like more info.
