Good morning.
Just wondered if anyone could educate me on loaders. I have recently bought a John Deere with a loader. The loader has been painted over but the stickers underneath says MX 600. The headstock has seen better days. Just wondered if I could buy a new headlock to fit this that was a euro 8 or quickie? I don't know much about loaders and this headstock looks home made ish. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have attached pictures below. Many thanks

That looks like a quickie headstock grafted to the mx loader. If you don't need a euro headstock then get a standard mx headstock, far easier to attach attachments with mx headstock and is a lot stronger. But if you already have euro hooks. a lot of attachment manufacturers also make headstocks
I've always been mx headstock but used euro brackets driving other people's loaders. I would not have euro hooks myself ever, seems very weak and slow to hook up attachments. Just my opinion.

You will need to measure & check your loader dimensions, pin sizes, distance between the boom arms etc then confirm the same on any headstock.
Your crowd cylinders look narrower set than the boom arms which will need to correspond with any replacement headstock.
The £200 generic Euro-8 headstock should fit, there is usually some fettling required.
