My favorite ewe has interdigital fibroma. The vet has no idea, how do I save her?

Just got back from the vet and they had no idea what this was! I have been googling like crazy and came to the conclusion it’s interdigital fibroma.
How do I treat this? I was going to soak it with epsom salt, and put furazone on it, along with banamine for pain and some antibiotics but that doesn’t get rid of the growth?
she is my favorite ewe but it of my entire flock. I will spend the money to save her just not sure the vet is going to be any help 😭

Just got back from the vet. They had no idea what it was. I did a bunch of research and am positive this is what it is. They said to soak and put furazone one on it plus antibiotics and banamine. But that doesn’t fix the huge growth hanging. It’s on both front feet. Im worried about them performing anything when they were so baffled by it.

what no y’all think?

the old school way would be cut it off and stop the blood flow with a hot iron.

Failing that "It’s Gecko time"
I talked to the vet again and he wants to wait to do anything other than soaking because he isn’t sure what it is. 🤦🏼‍♀️
If it doesn’t get cut off what happens?

Tie some fishing line tight around it.

Old way would be to cut it off and quarterise it, either with a hot iron or by applying a poultice of copper sulphate or similar. Probably a vet job with anaesthetic these days of course.

However, it will almost certainly grow back, so best to stop thinking of her as your favourite ewe, and more as your next cull sale.

It gets bigger and bigger, causing more and more pain. Either treat or euthanase (locally called ‘to gecko’).
Gotcha. I called my old vet, and I’ve got an appointment with them on Monday to cut it off.
I’ve soaked it and wrapped it for now.

cut it off, bandage well, with copper sulphate over the 'scar', could put some a/b powder on first.

cow might appreciate pain relief, but that usually sorts virtually anything out, great for digi as well.

I've had big interdigital growths on cattle before which I treated with dry ice spray.
Don't know if you can still get it, but it was the spray that you could DIY freeze brand with.
Daily spraying/freezing of the growth. end eventually died back to a manageable size.

if they are not sure best to get the vet to cut it out ,need to get right down to the base and even then it might grow back .
bloody scalpel job.

That stuff was a plumber’s pipe freezing spray iirc, so maybe still available from builders merchants?
