the floor is on a slope as well. They would have had to remove 1000's of tons to get the site level but it doesn't effect the workings of the building
How do you put fall on a gutter that is fixed either over the end timber or sat on top of ths stanctions if used as a valley gutter?I'm confused by this conversation. every shed I've got, its the gutter that has the fall
All our sheds are 90ft long so 20mm of fall per bay is nothing, but over say a 300ft long shed i can see if might cause few more problems.
The only reason we put fall on is to keep the steel gutters dry and stop them from rotting. you couldnt achieve this on a level building.
If a shed was level and you used plastic guttering and steeped it as you went as memtioned in a previous post, over a longish shed you would run out of room to fix to timber , and also when you came to clad it down there wouldn't be enough room to fix sheets/boards.
All i no is it works for us
Yeah Cheers Phil. Still waiting for you to sharpen your pencil a bit harder!
We've always put the pins in 1st, and then take levels making each post different according to that hole, we do this because we never hsve a level site tk start with. Im gonna have to make you earn your money somehow @PDRD !
Fair play, that is some project by the looks, makes mine look like a chicken hutch!
Do you have any fall on the posts for thd guttering? Seems like im in the minority for having the sheds falling slightly!
All our posts are usually numbered according to a specific hole, i agree having them all different tests them, a good chance to get the cobwebs off the old laser level!
Probly wouldn't be easy having fall on a shed as long as yours, youve probly got several outlets on each run.
Having fall works for us on our 90ft runs!
