Was it ok I wanted to do more last week but didn't date run on the week old stuff so gonna do it this week thought that was pushing it! Ha how deep is it?
fine not a issue cattle will be on it Monday afternoon we did a test hole with drill and it had gone off ok 5" thick but don't get me wrong it was only run on with a few loads of concrete for the feed passage but the midden had a 26t truck on it and that was fine at only 4" thick

How does the power tamp work then, it does not appear to be running on anything.

When theyre doing ours they hand float a strip at each side to give a guide, if the strips wider than the bar they level pads in the middle by hand then power float a narrow strip with the bar so they then have each side and the centres strip to work to,

Fantastic thread.

Are you putting tin on both sides of the bottom of the feed rail?

Any reason why you didn't have the scrape passage 4" lower than the straw part of the shed? Or did you want the whole shed level so it would be useful for other purposes?

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
