Nasty hangover feeling in mornings - anyone found cause?

I will speak to GP - one thing could be blood sugar. I know there is a type of none diabetes hypoglycemia. I had scrammed eggs for breakfast but felt lightheaded before I had it. Its the nausea thats scary. Starving at lunch time start to eat feel full then awful again all afternoon.

Hope you get to the bottom of this soon - Just one thing though, Diabetes does not generally cause hypoglycemia - It's the medications designed to reduce blood glucose levels which do that.

Any chemist will supply a blood glucose meter for under £20 (some link to your smart phone) so maybe that would be something you could do whilst waiting for a Dr's appointment - Always good to be one step ahead.

My mrs was a bit like that until she had her gall bladder out

Had all bloods back and nothing was flagged and I had everything incl Auto immunes, thyroids, sugars etc

Looks like its GERD which has a massive negative effect on the body.

I would say mine is silent. Acid can effect the ears (fluffy even vertigo), sore burning throat, clearing throat, blocked nose, headache, bloated belly, nausea, chest tightness, unable to eat, wretching, jittering, anxiety.

No reason why I have this Im not excessively overweight, I dont bing drink, eat a lot of spicy food, eat late, poor diet high in carbs, take meds. I think I have had this for a long time.

Try taking things out of your diet.
I'd start by cutting out cereal based food. Porridge, bread. pasta etc and see if you improve.
Worked wonders for my acid reflux.

Skip the wine full of chemical preservatives like sulphates and sulphites (which I am intolerant of). I only drink wine on the continent close to where its made. Stick to Beer or real ales <4.5% preferably 3.8-4.1%.
A friend of mine has a Gin factory, basically it is industrial alcohol with a few berries etc hoyed on and redistilled. Wouldn't use it for anything more than antifreeze in the vehicles far less drink the crap.
Suggest you have a night on San Miguel 4.5% zero sugar but strong enough to get you Brahms. It doesn't give me a hangover at all or heartburn if I drink less than 5 pints. Reference the heartburn on a big day/night consume a packet of Refreshers (bicarb of Soda) per gallon of beer.
Has to be worth a try!
