Hardly a surprise.

BBC running a repeat of an interview from a few years ago. He spoke very good English.

Didnt know much about the man other than a direct opponent of Putin.

Probably would have been better if he had tried to keep under the radar than a dead Hero.

Whats other folks thoughts ?

Its very sad, but take on Putin and face the consequences. Hardly without precedent unfortunately.

What happened to the couple who were kidnapped when that Ryanair flight was intercepted and forced to land in Belarus after a spurious bomb on board threat?

Why the f**k putin is allowed to get away with the murder of who ever he wants where ever they are is beyond belief . He has everyone running scared , Do the lowlife who do his killing not realise that they are expendable and he will have other lowlife kill them to if it suits.
He's the lowest of the low and its well past time, some one had the balls to remove him , don't care if its a bullet or cruise missile, he's abdolute scum.

and he sits there so calm and collected, cool as a cucumber, in interviews such as the recent Tucker thing

It is very sad news, after the nerve agent poisoning I would imagine his body was more susceptible to the Siberian cold, doubtlessly Putin had meetings with people taking advice on the best place to send him to achieve his goal. I hope I live to see the murderers demise.

Mixed feelings about him on several levels...

He was a Russian patriot, no doubting that, and he supported the occupation of Crimea, regarding it as rightfully Russian. However, he was against the attack on Ukraine and the occupation of its - non-Crimean - territories.

He was very brave, ultimately recklessly so, and it is unarguable that he affected Putin. But, one has to wonder whether his 'martyrdom' has been and will be of more use in the fight against Putin, than him alive and healthy but in exile...*

*Assuming he wasn't poisoned etc.

Two things to remember, 1 life is still better than under Lenin or worse, Stalin.
2,to suggest that a political leader of another country regardless of what you think of her/him or whatever be bumped off because your viewpoint is different probably isn't really acceptable. Imagine if some suggested the UK's PM or any US President be terminated permanently, where do you draw the line.

That's a crap analogy, since the holders of the offices you mention latterly aren't dictators and haven't and don't, as a matter of course, order the sort of things that Putin does.

Are you condoning the killing of people with a different view point as that animal (an insult to animals ) putin does , tow his line , keep quiet or die.
Think you need to think about it .
Or move to Russia.

Dictatorship 101, don't create martyrs before a moment of potential weakness, like an election.

However, against a modern security state you wonder how Russian's could bring about a change.

You really think Putin is alone in this, you can bet your life there's a hell of a lot more behind him that's every bit as ruthless & capable of pretty much anything, no one man can be ordering so much going on in so many places.
