Guys.... I’ve got a New Holland T7.185 and the PTO seems to be starting up very sharp with no revs tried calibration but doesn’t seem to make a difference, some times it’s fine and other times starts up very sharp. Any help on how to cure it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Is it new? We have a 260 that started doing that but after a some time it sorted itself out

Had a t6.175 that would periodically start pto with jolt. After numerous warranty investigations it turned out to be the internal bracket loose that held a speed sensor. Sensor has to be at a set distance and whilst trying to measure mechanic discovered it moved. Problem solved.

We had this with a T7, if you did a h8 reset on the Pto calibration it would be ok for a few days.

In the end it was the pwm Pto solenoid, changed that, reset it and it was ok again
