Hi All,

Got a bit of a problem with a 1.5 year old New Holland t5.105 with 24 x 24 Powershuttle hi Low splitter. Every now and again when you try and drive in II and second gear the clutch engages and the tractor moves but as the clutch reaches the top it just cuts out as if its in neutral. Has anyone else experienced this with a NH and know what the problem is?

check , not sure with this model but must have potentiometer may have come loose, it's a variable resistor with two wires normally on linkage near pivot shaft of pedal..

nope no error codes or anything like that but forgot to add after driving it a while it will suddenly work fine no problems at all.

While on the NH subject I have a td 5040 with pto hand clutch, when you disengage the pto it keeps turning only freewheeling not driving so clearly pto brake not working but strange thing is if you put foot down on foot clutch pedal pto will start up again

Yeah had to get the mechanic out and it turned out to be a safety switch that had broken part number FD-87585978. Took them bloody ages to find it.
