And unlike clives, it hasent lost £20,000 in 12 months
I know, I was messing with Clive, but the net resut is we both appreciate the benefits of what others do not understand is a fun vehicle to drive. For me - I always get out of it happy!

Presume you mean the Landie in that sentenceI hope it’s good too. I’m getting one. My ex wife had my old one. Although it was rubbish in so many ways, I also have so many funny stories about it.

They aren't on sale yet?
They aren't on sale yet?
Just ask. They will accept a letter of intent.
You don't get friendly waves from Ford PU drivers - or anyone other than Defender driversI had a ride in a newish defender the otherday. What a horrid thing compared to my ford pickup. And this is coming from someone who used to be a big fan of them.
What does that get you, an early spot on the build schedule? I emailed the local dealer about a year ago and didn't get a response.
I'm staying out of this debate, because I know people are going to say "ffs" not againOh god! I’ve just realised I’m in a debate about land Rovers! Oh the shame.

I have never seen the merit in the Land Rover (Defender) nor why everybody thinks they are so marvellous. Has to be one of the most cramped, dangerous and uncomfortable vehicles, on the road or off.
The Discovery One and Two were far more practical vehicles that were every bit as good as a Landie off road; they had more interior space and comfort, and also had the added advantage of being a practical mode of transport that didn’t necessitate the driver to be a masochistic and anorexic contortionist dwaarf.
Car salesmen and emails. Doesn’t normally work. Even if you email them “I’d really like to buy x”

address to dealer principle
for some brands (italian and german mostly) it helps if LOI is accompanied by a brown envelope full of some of the cash you will make flipping the car the week after you take delivery

I don't want to sell it on, I fancy a smart replacement for the Amarok which will have 150k+ miles on it by the time a Defender arrives.
LOI for a couple then its what German and Italian car owners do
My dealer has had a deposit for about a year now maybe more. ( Flipper? Don't think it will be the next GT2RS....do you??? )
