No mention of bragging sales by mag contributors!

First year we haven’t had to put up with arable contributors telling us they marketed 25% of their crop prior to harvest way above market price, come on people let’s have a few facts for us to digest!

Not many will brag when they got it wrong.
I will admit we put in some extra wheat last year and we sold the extra last winter at 180 for September uplift which was wrong as it turns out but it got it out of the way.
On the up side we sold the normal amount in the past few weeks for November uplift as normal, so the average is still acceptable.
They must be desperate, the lorry were in the day after we sold it even though it wasn't November yet.

Luckily we bought our fertiliser in June as normal too, turns out sticking to your normal routine pans out OK sometimes.

😂😂😂😂

Haven’t forward sold for nearly 10 years as it’s to risky. Need the combine in the field first. Sold some triticale off the combine for £156 which is a poor result and 2 loads of wheat due to space issues for £175 also off the combine but since then another 2 loads at £247 iirc and then last week 4 loads at £270. About 5% sold now. If we saw £300 for group 1 it would be hard not to do the lot though ……..
