At dairy sales I think some farmers can’t see past a big flashy mammary and high yields. Locomotion, dairy strength, rump structure and picking the right cow for their system are forgot about. Then it’s all the Holstein’s fault. The young heifer with the snug udder that’s still developing is usually well priced.

But we find that they get really stinking in the first two or three days, and then don't seem to get much worse after that. (y) .

The milk fat residue seems to develop a certain water repellent property after a few layers have been applied.

Every man and his granny are getting into milk here in God's north antrim, so I'm informed by a dept vet. It's sounding like it's time to get out. I noticed the other day 100g of ham was £1.80. That's £18k a ton for ham. I'm thinking pigs, loadsa money. Happy Christmas to all my online friends
Eat DRINK and the Devil take whatever, Next Year will look after itself. Happy Christmas to all.

Health and Safety information.
If you are milking and get caught short for a No.2, when you go into the cubicle house to hover over the slats DO NOT set your roll of paper towels on freshly limed cubicle beds.
Remember kids..lime burns.
Never milked as fast in my life.
Merry Christmas.
I love Bush.
