We should expect a sharp rise for March milk then as costs got a fair rise in March.
Costs have been rising sharply since about July last year. European gas price is a big driver.

Exact same here willy, sprayed off on Saturday. Was told end of the month at the latest. Was also told that it needs the plough not min til.I have a field that needs reseeded. I was thinking of doing whole crop and under sowing it.
I'm a whole crop virgin.
Going to kill off the field tomorrow. Graze it end of week. Disc it next week. Broadcast barley. Harrow in. Broadcast grass seed. Roll.
How much barley per acre to not choke the grass seed?
If the weather breaks, how late can you sow whole crop to have it cutting with 2nd cut?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Something about a deeper seed bed for barley. Why the plough?
The plough also opens up the land and burys the trash which leaves a nicer seedbedSomething about a deeper seed bed for barley.
