NSF going paperless

Had a text yesterday telling me I will receive an email to tell me that NSF (RT auditors) are going paperless.
So the policeman of the ultimate creators of unnecessary paperwork, RT, are going paperless. Couldn't make it up.
They can save the fuel as well and not bother visiting.

I am going to send them photos of pieces of paper. They will be authenticated by photos of me taking photos of pieces of paper.

What do the older farmers do.? Some people do not have smart phones and some do not even have computers , are they pushing them into oblivion.?

Going to drop it anyway ive put the 40 odd acres of what i normally grow wheat on into sfi only going to grow enough barley to feed a few cattle

They told me they were going paperless on their last inspection. Then said I had to print 2 million forms out on my own printer…..I said who’s paying for all this….they said you’ll have to….absolute toss pots

I might just buy a stamp and send them bits of paper. Cheaper than my time scanning it all.

I can't possibly operate a scanner! I can photo it with my phone though. There's a hell of a queue at the post office on Thursday.

And most probably drop the livestock side as well and just get a VAN number off the vet asked all the buyers of fatstock around the ring in darlington and not one is bothered about rt as long as you have a VAN number

Now you have to confirm your details, not really a hardship but why do we have to do all the running. I will point blank refuse to upload anything to any portal. They want to see it, they come out and see the paper copies.

Think I’ve had 2 inspections for crops in 5 years. And one of those was a zoom one where I had to walk around the farm yard showing them stuff but as mobile signal is poor the guy pretty much gave up.

Makes yet more of a mockery of assurance.

We had one every year yet only production only as everything goes straight to central store , they could ask for anything they want to be scanned and sent no need to visit, makes no odds as I've told them to f**k off, as been said just going to grow enough to get the straw we need and send the grain to a magic store.
